Summer Solstice Off Road Ride

This annual event takes place next Sunday. It’s a 100 mile off-road ride but the course describes a figure of eight and you could start in Rugby and make it a 100km ride.

Meet at 6.30am from the bridleway by Farndon Fields farm shop. If you’d like to do the shorter course get in touch (richard.heald7@gmail.com ) to arrange a meet up.

The route heads out to Rugby, Draycote Water,  Leamington, Warwick and loops back round Coventry. It’s a  mixture of smooth bridleways, gravel tow path, well surfaced cycleway and quiet lanes. There are just a couple of unavoidable short spurts on the busier roads around Warwick. A couple of cafe options have been lined up.

Either a MTB or a gravel/cyclocross bike will be fine.
