Whizz Kids in the sun

A superb afternoon polishing up the core skills at Welland Park under the late spring sunshine, it doesn’t get much better.  Anyway, here’s what we got up to today, we split the 30+ Whizz Kids and worked two groups today with the older riders working under Simon and Ian’s eye and the balance bikes,  single speeders and younger riders with Kevin and Jade.  With three zones available we concentrated under the general heading of teamwork which meant relay’s and other activities that gave riders the chance to break and drink between activities. Thanks today to the aforementioned Simon, Ian and Jade for running the show and the parents who stepped up to direct and encourage their riders around the courses.

Next event will be in 10th June and will be the “Worlds Slowest Club Run” as we are riding as part of the carnival procession through the streets of Harborough, details on timings and location will follow.  Enjoy the bank holiday, it got off to a great start!
