Ride, Ride Ride
With pretty decent weather and a bank holiday just think of where you could cycle this weekend. And WVCC has plenty to tempt you on to your bike.
Tomorrow (Friday) the club run leaves the square in Harborough at 9.30pm for a 50km or so stretch of the legs and a very sociable coffee stop after.
On Saturday the off-roaders are planning a 85km ride that starts by the Fox Inn in Hallaton at 8am- they’re no slouches! Just ask if you’d like to join the WhatsApp group.
There’s the usual three club runs on Sunday morning departing from the Square at 9.15am. Can we get even more riders than we had last week?
There’s no Breeze ride on Sunday afternoon. Instead we’ve Ride for Oxfam departing at 1.30pm opposite the primary school on Fairfield Rd, Harborough.
There are no planned rides on Monday so enjoy a recovery ride ready for the Time Trial on Tuesday evening around the Langtons.  Sign up for the Langtons 10 time trial, Tuesday 2nd May – Welland Valley Cycling Club (wellandvalleycc.co.uk)
Hill climbs have moved to Wednesday evening. Meet at 6.20pm at the bottom of Farndon Hill What3words – flippers.rejects.simple.
And last but not least, there’s more chain gangs than you can shake a stick at on Thursday evening. Be outside Church Langton school by 6.30pm.
And in the midst of all this cycling fun, make sure you and your mates sign up for the Welland Valley Sportive. All the information you need is here: Macmillan Sportive – Welland Valley Cycling Club (wellandvalleycc.co.uk)
