Ride for Oxfam
A social event for the afternoon of Sunday 30th April that includes homemade cake and plenty of tea to be enjoyed in a spring garden. In return there’s the opportunity to make a donation to Oxfam (in cash or with card)
The event starts at 1.30pm opposite the school on Fairfield Rd, Market Harborough. There are two led rides, one of 25km and one of 50km. They’ll be sociable, no-drop rides at a steady pace. If you’d rather ride at your own pace or on a different route, that’s all good. Wherever and however you ride, you’re invited to join in with the tea and cakes from 3pm back opposite the school.
This event is a personal response to the earthquake in Turkey and Syria but I see the global need even more clearly now as I was recently able to visit six Oxfam projects in Kenya.
