Kamila climbs Edge Hill

Enjoy this latest report from Kamila on her hill climbing adventure.

On Sunday 26th February, I ventured over to Edge Hill in southern Warwickshire with the YouTube film crew, i.e.Greg my boyfriend running next to me with the GoPro, to tackle the hill. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon for the three repeats of it.

Starting slightly south of the village of Ratley, I began the slow warm-up ride towards the ascent. After reaching the start of the segment, it was time to mentally prepare myself for the climb, whilst Greg turned the car around to follow me.

The hill starts with a gentle ramp up for a 100 metres or so, then holds a near continuous 10% for the remaining 1km, except for a few sections that get to 14%.

The hill was challenging, made more so by the fact that motorsport fans also like to climb and descend it in their high powered cars.
