Boxing Day 10 Mile Time Trial

A cold sunny day brought 16 riders out on a wide variety of bikes; the expected time trial and road bikes were joined by a mountain bike and a singlespeed commuter bike.
After a delayed start following reports of ice finishing times were slower than normal; cold wet roads, concerns about ice and a headwind all contributed to a cautious approach and slower times. Only two riders finished under 30 minutes, the fastest man was Phil Rayner while Linda Hubbard was the fastest woman.
Many thanks to the marshals, timekeepers and volunteers; the event couldn’t take place without them.
