Opportunity for young cyclists
British Cycling are looking for young talent and as we’ve got a good number of talented young riders, I’m guessing this will be of interest. There will also be two follow-on workshops in different locations. Although they say Youth A/B (U14 and U16) older under 12s are also welcome. Here’s what they are offering…………..
As some of you will be aware, were looking to deliver regional workshops throughout the year. Details of the first one are here below. These workshops are a perfect opportunity for Riders and coaches who want to know a little bit more about what we do in the Youth field and a chance for us to meet face to face and build relationships in the region.
In this workshop we will focus mainly on the British Cycling Talent Pathway & the Youth Racing Pathway.
We will delve into how to engage with the Talent & Youth Racing pathway to maximise Youth bike racer progression.
We will also touch on goal setting and fundamental behaviours that underpin developing personal excellence.
The workshop will be delivered by me (Tiffany Fletcher). I am a Talent Development Coach covering the East Midlands, West Midlands & Central Region.
The workshop will be appropriate to any racers who will be Youth A/B in 2023 along with parents and coaches & I anticipate that delivery will take around 1.5hrs with a short break.
Come prepared to listen, contribute/take part, share knowledge & ideas , take notes, ask questions & have fun!
Please pass this onto any Riders and share onto other platforms, for people you think would benefit and I hope to see you there.
