Autumn 100k Gravel Ride – Sunday 30 October

It’s that time of year again. We are planning a 100k gravel ride on Sunday 30 October. It won’t be quite as spooktacular as last year  though as it’s not on Halloween itself.

We are planning top cover new ground though. This year we’re heading west to Draycote water via Rugby. The route will take in tarmac, gravel tracks, canal towpaths and cycle paths and some of the better grassy bridleways. The route is being prepared by Richard Heald and will be published once the less familiar sections have been checked. We’re not letting him book the weather this year though.

We plan to meet at the Farndon Fields Farm Shop in Market Harborough – What3Words ///strikers.resting.smile at 7.30am (taking advantage of the time change the night before).

This will be an unsupported club ride for WVCC members and friends from other local clubs. It is intended to be suitable for all off-road bikes from ‘cross bikes to gravel and mountain bikes.

Please let us know if you’re coming – ideally through our off-road WhatsApp group – so we can arrange additional ride groups by speed and bike type as appropriate. To be added to our off-road WhatsApp group please message Adrian Killworth or email your mobile number to offroad@wellandvalleycc.co.uk
