Events this weekend

The Royal Household has advised that there is no obligation to cancel or postpone events during the period of National Mourning, and this extends to all planned cycle-sport events, club and community activity.

Our cycling events will therefore be going ahead as enviaged but include a minute’s silence as a mark of respect.

Sunday morning sees round 1 of the Leicestershire cyclo-cross league held at Marston Lodge (LE16 9TT) and featuring the first LCXL women’s only event.

There will also be the usual Sunday morning club rides, departing from The Square at 9.15am.
