Following the cancellation of Welland Valley Cycling Club’s Round of the NCRA Spring Series earlier this month, WVCC Chairman Jonathan Durnin and Club Secretary Stuart Dawkins  have written to British Cycling’s Chief Executive Brian Facer on behalf of the Club’s Committee setting out significant frustrations and making a series of proposals concerning British Cycling’s approach to regions, its improving communication with clubs, riders and volunteers, and making the Accredited Marshal Scheme more deliverable.

Welland Valley Cycling Club looks forward to working with British Cycling in addressing the issues that the cancellation of this race highlighted, and to make organising and delivering grass roots road racing with BC more efficient and sustainable in future.
