Off Road Rides – Bike ‘n’ Christmas Beers
This weekend’s ride will be from Bridget 61 at Foxton Locks – What3Words ///redefined.wipe.odds – led by Adrian Killworth at 1.30pm on Saturday 11 December.
The planned route below is around 52km and will incorporate gravel tracks, quiet narrow tarmac and a couple of sections of grassy bridleway. The ride is expected to take around 2.75 hours – so bring your lights – and we are hoping for a vitamin B recovery drink afterwards in the Bridge 61 pub – if we have earned it.

The following week – Saturday 18 December – we’ll also be meeting at Bridget 61 at Foxton Locks this time at 2pm for a slightly shorter ride led by Richard Heald. We will be having Christmas drinks afterwards at the Bridge 61 pub from 4.30pm. Please join us for beers if you can’t make the ride.
Our off-road rides are planned to be suitable for all off-road bikes – cyclocross bikes, MTBs and every flavour of gravel bike in between – with the routes planned to take account of weather and ground conditions. Some form of puncture protection is recommended for off-road riding such as tubeless tyres with sealant or self sealing inner tubes.
Please let us know if you’re coming – ideally through our WhatsApp group. To be added to our WhatsApp group please message Adrian Killworth or email your mobile number to offroad@wellandvalleycc.co.uk
