Pete and Jen both PB at the VTTA East Anglia 10 mile TT

Pete Bell reports on a successful afternoon.

132 riders, including two of our own, took the start line at the VTTA East Anglia 10 mile TT held on the E2/10 course last Saturday, 4th September.

Starting at Six MIle Bottom near Newmarket, the course runs out and back along the A11, had has a reputation for producing good times; an easterly wind did mean the benefits of a cross-tailwind on the outbound leg were offset on the return but this didn’t prevent either of our riders from posting a distance PB:

• Peter Bell – 21:32
• Jennifer Clegg (riding for Team Botterill) – 24:42

The event was won by Tom Ward of AeroLab Ward WheelZ in a time of 17:58.
