Round 13 of the Club Championship at Bruntingthorpe served to prove that every turn of the pedals counts with a solitary second separating the top two positions with Gary Roberts taking the win.

Riders were challenged by a brisk NE wind as they battled up the long runway straight on each of the 3.1 laps.

Simon Askham put in a storming performance to win the road bike category (7th overall) with an average speed of 24.74mph

Dom Switzer was once again fastest Junior and reigning women’s champion; Linda Hubbard remained invincible in the women’s race. Our good wishes go to Dom who competes in the National GHS TT final on Saturday at Mallory Park.
