RR4R in aid of The Dogs Trust.

A massive thank you goes out to all those who supported Ride or Race for Rosemary 2021 yesterday in the splendid surroundings of Misterton Hall.

As an addition to the Ride and Race, over 20 Whizz kids took the opportunity to stretch their legs and test their skills around a scenic course.

12 riders took to the road for a 25 mile circular route stopping off for a moments reflection at the last resting place of Rosemary in Yelvertoft.

And 33 Riders competed over 2x off road races in the grounds of the Hall. Both the Scratch and the Handicapped race were won by the fast improving Dom Switzer.

Riders and Racers then came together for a scrumptious BBQ on the main lawn overlooking the lake.

A fabulous £506.44 was raised for Rosemary’s favourite charity; The Dogs Trust.

Events such as these do not happen without a whole host of volunteers giving their time and expertise. Immense thanks go to:

Adrian, Kevin, Ben, Simon & Ian for the off road racing and Whizz kids.

Dave B & Dave R for leading the ride.

George and Pauline for signing riders on.

And the caterers who served over 90 plates full of food; Lucy, Clare, Bunny, Tim, & Ann.

Plus a few others that helped with parking and selling drinks.

We look forward to future editions of this long standing fixture in the WVCC calendar.
