Race Report: Orwell Velo by Jen Clegg

Jen Clegg went to Stowmarket for this open 20m TT on 1^st May.  9degC, windy, with patchy rain and a brief spell of hail provided challenging conditions for this sporting, rolling course on quiet roads and mostly decent surfaces. The tailwind pushing a 2 mile gently downhill finish created an exultant conclusion to a well-run, amiable event.  She was just out of the top 3 prize money coming 4^th woman in 57’31”. It is a 2 hour drive away but a fantastic course that could be part of a fine weekend away. Jen will certainly be doing it again next year.
