TT report: Cambridge CC 25 mile Open TT

Matt Plews and Jon Durnin rode the Cambridge CC 25 mile  TT on Sunday, at the F2A/25 course near Cambourne.

With an entry cut off of a PB 55:15 over the last three seasons, it was a very strong field.  Matt made the cut, with Jon getting a ride as third reserve.

The course was a fast (out and back twice), but exposed to the wind, and a strong wind made it hard for the riders on the out legs, but quick on the way back.

Matt rode to  a time of 55:01, and  Jon 56:35, and both were delighted with their rides.

The next event for Matt is the RTTC National 25 on 27 September at Six Hills, along with Linda Hubbard, whilst Jon’s next event is putting out the bins.
