Farewell Dean

Bike riders congregated on The Square this morning to wave farewell to Dean Barnett ahead of his imminent move to North Yorkshire, ahead of setting off for Club Runs in seven groups of six.

Welland Valley Cycling Club riders were joined by our friends from Bojko Velo and Cats MBC to hear Club President Dave Birch pay tribute to Dean’s immense contribution to local cycling over many years, and the generations of bike riders he has inspired. 

Thank you Dean, and very best wishes to you and Heather as you start your next adventure.
