Whizz Kids – Let’s go racing

Good Evening Whizz Kids, after a couple of skills sessions recently it’s time to up the pace just a bit with our first race session on Saturday. For those who are new to this part of the year we have our own racing series for Whizz Kids and over the year we’ll have a mix of events from off road cross and MTB through to time trials, skills sprints and a hill climb. The series is supported by Alden Electrical and they run across the year. Racing is in age categories and the races generally quite short and snappy and your results score points for the overall championship and our presentation in December is where the trophies and medals are handed over. Don’t worry if you can’t do every event, only your best scores will count so if you have a party to go to, or are just having a “bad day” just pitch up to the next event.
Our first 2020 event is at Misterton Hall near Lutterworth (next to M1 Junction 20) on Saturday with a 2:00pm start. Given the recent storms we’ll be racing mainly on the hard paths, the exact course determined by the pitch inspection on Saturday morning. We’ll see you there!
