Brampton Valley Way TT

Hi Whizz Kids, we’re getting ready for the next session on Saturday afternoon which is the latest round of the Whizz Kids Racing League (supported by Alden Electrical) and this time it’s you against the clock for the Brampton Valley Way Time Trial. We’re using a course centred at the old Kelmarsh station mid way between the two tunnels. First rider is away at 2:00pm from the start house and it’s straight into a climb to the old railway line.
There are a couple of things our hosts Northants County Council have asked and that is to park considerately, the carpark is limited to just a few cars and (unless it’s been filled in) there is a massive pothole on the way in and out. If you have to park on the road take care and don’t block the road. Please leave the disabled spaces free for their rightful users. The trail remains open to other users so if your run is delayed by other walkers or horse riders just finish the run, go back to the start and have another go. All riders can have as many goes as they like, the fastest ride will count towards league points.
Don’t forget your bike, helmet and a drink. Also just remember that there are no toilets on that part of the trail so go before set out!.

Finally we wish Ian all the best following his treatment and we hope to see you back soon.

See you on Saturday!
