If you’ve not ridden an open event before, don’t fear that you won’t be fast enough – in the 10 mile events, there’s always at least one rider with a time in excess of 34minutes, and in the 25mile events the slowest rider finishes in around 1hr 35minutes.

Entry is online via the Cycling Time Trials Website  www.cyclingtimetrials.org.uk . If you have not ridden an open event before, you’ll need to register with CTT. Everything is explained on the CTT homepage – scroll down to ‘Getting Started’ and take it from there. The closing date for entries is always 10 days before the event. For the event on March 30th, the closing date is Tuesday March 19th.
