TT: Last chance for a PB at the Langton’s

It’s your last chance to set a season’s PB on the Langton’s course this Tuesday, with competition fierce at the top of all the leader boards.

In the Seniors, James Lowe currently heads the table on 235pts from four rides, followed by Jon Durnin 209, Gary Roberts 172, Chris Dainty 164 and Simon Ward 144.

James also leads the Juniors on 240pts; from Jamie Lydall on 103, but from half the number or rides.

In the Women’s competition, Linda Hubbard leads after three rides on 180pts; with Sophie Ward on 161 and Lorna Marlow (two rides) with 111.

Sophie heads up the Women’s Road Bike table on 175pts from three rides, followed by Lorna Marlow on 115 from a ride less.

The highly competitive Men’s Road Bike competition is led by Matt Vallins on 147pts; with Stewart Holland 142 and Andrew Weatherby 127. Dark horse Mike Ives is in fourth spot with 99pts (from two rides), followed by Huw Wilson 94 and Harrison Fay 90.

Things are even closer in the Juveniles. Huw Wilson tops the table after three rides with 166pts; ahead of Sophie Ward 147, Will Perkins 147, Dom Switzer (two rides) 115 and Harrison Fay (two rides) 115.

Finally, the Veterans table is led temporarily by on 207pts from four rides; with Linda Hubbard (three rides) on 168, Julian Middleton (three rides) 138 and Bill Barrie (two rides) 120.

Race HQ for Tuesday is Church Langton Community Hall, And it looks as if the weather gods might be smiling on us; with a predicted 19C, no rain and a light breeze (so brace yourselves for snow and a hurricane).
