WHizz Kids Racing league TT
Hi Whizz Kids, we’re back in action on Saturday August 8th for the next round of the Alden’s Whizz Kids Racing league and this round will be the road time trial. We’ll be using the tarmac paths at the back of Market Harborough Leisure Centre, next to where we were for the recent Tour de Welland. Riders will go individually and will be able to have as many attempts as they like within the time available and just your fastest time of the day will count towards the overall results and league points.
The racing league is a season long internal competition covering a variety of events. If you’re new to the league don’t worry if you’ve missed earlier events, there are still several rounds left and the overall result will be based on your best results across the season, so still time to build some results.
Meet up from 13:45 for signing on, and first rider will be away just after 14:00 with the session wrapping up before 15:30. There will also be the opportunity for any competitive parents to try to get close/match or even beat their younger riders during the event so feel free to bring your bikes as well. Weather forecast for Saturday is a pleasant 22°C with the chance of a refreshing shower in the morning, so perfect weather. Harborough Town FC are playing away on Saturday so parking should be less challenging. Booking is now open so check your email and/or the WhatsApp group for the sign-on details. Finally, don’t forget your bike, helmet and your drinks/snacks and we’ll see you on Saturday.
