Get ready for a 10 mile TT with a twist!

We all love 10 mile TTs, and don’t worry there are plenty of them this season…… but this coming Tuesday (5  May), it’s the 5+5 TT, an ‘out and back’ with a break in the middle!

Two timed TTs of just less than five miles, with the combined time of both to count.  For juvenile riders, this is your chance to get a 5 mile TT time in for the ‘Best All Rounder’ cup.

HQ is Church Langton Community Hall, first rider off at 630pm, 1 minute intervals.

So, why not get your entries in now, and roll up for a TT with a twist. Sign up closes 9pm on Sunday. It’s going to be a cracker!

It’s also another opportunity to enjoy tea and coffee, and of course Angela’s awesome cakes, have a chat and swap stories about the ride. Please can we all help with returning cups and plates to the kitchen, and a bit of help with the washing up would be greatly appreciated.

The 5=5 is on a very quiet rural course, ideal for beginners because the hard finish (in either direction) makes pace judgment vital. Wind direction really affect this course – it can be brutal if against you and strong cross-winds can affect the fast descents at the start (both directions.)
