Time for the ‘must dos’

CARD 💳 – LIGHTS (Front & Rear) – RACE

The Kibworth 25 on 20th April is a great ‘out and back’ challenge.  Joining the A6 from the start layby in Kibworth Harcourt requires care and attention as do the “McDonalds” and Harborough roundabouts.  The descent from Dingley  to the Harborough island is fast and the Harborough island has a rough surface with some pot holes and requires care and respect.  HQ is Kibworth Village Hall, and the first ride is off at 8 am.

The Langtons 10  (22 April) is a  very quiet rural course: great for beginners – a course where pace judgment is essential – the start is fast then the road rises and falls until the turn to through Cranoe.  This course has a right turn in Welham which needs some care. (Go to the left of the cone in events or be disqualified!). Be aware as you pass the Wheel and Compass pub in Weston By Welland of traffic entering/exiting the car park and take care at the left turn at the church. After turning onto Paynes Lane before Medbourne, the next turn towards Slawston is sharp and it is easy to end up on the wrong side of the road. Care at the entry to Slawston, and again at the left turn to the finish just shy of Church Langton.  HQ is Church Langton Community Hall, and the first rider is off at 630pm.
