Whizz Kids Family ride and picnic

Hi Whizz Kids, We are back in action on Saturday and this time we’re thinking it’s time for a family ride and a picnic to finish, weather permitting. The plan is to meet at Britannia Walk, Market Harborough (opposite Sainsburys petrol station) for a 2:00pm start and to ride up the Brampton Valley Way as far as the A14 bridge (just past Kelmarsh Tunnel). Simon will be planning a Jigsaw hunt on the trail so there will be things to look out for on the ride. We’ll ride back and have a bit of a picnic on the little park we’ll pass just after the start.
Don’t forget your bike, helmet, drink and your picnic food and we’ll see you soon. You will also benefit from lights as we’ll be riding through four unlit tunnels on the ride and if you need some illumination I suggest you go to George Halls Cycle Centre who have a selection of lights.
Sign-up for the session is now open, check your email for the link and as this is a family ride parents / grandparents and other significant olders are welcome to join us.
ALSO – if you missed the earlier post have a look at the fundraiser being done by former Whizz Kid rider and coach Ben Brant for Rainbows Hospice.
