Roll up, roll up!

Two important reminders about two great Welland Valley events that are just too good to miss.

This Saturday sees the annual Macmillan Sportive – starting and finishing at the dream rider HQ – the Langton Brewery.

Online entry is available here (Sportive – Welland Valley Cycling Club (wellandvalleycc.co.uk)) until tonight (Thursday), and entry is also available in-person on the day. It is helpful to the organisers if you enter on line though.

There are 100k and 60k road routes and 100k and 60k off-road routes.

As usual, there will be electronic timing; signed road routes; GPS off road files; and a mid-ride feed station

And, perhaps most importantly, a welcome free beer at the end of the ride for all adult riders.

Club members are reminded also that entry is now open for our Summer Race Nights Series at Mallory Park (Mallory Summer Series – Welland Valley Cycling Club (wellandvalleycc.co.uk)).

The four races in July and August are all handicaps; and riders of all speeds and experience are welcome.
