Whizz Kids Tour de Welland 2023

Hi Whizz Kids, just to let you know that we’re in action on Saturday  afternoon for the 2023 edition of the Tour de Welland which also doubles up as the latest round of the Whizz Kids Racing League (supported by Alden Electrical) and this year we’re at Misterton Hall near  Lutterworth.  We’ll be mainly on the paths on the far side of the lake  but there will have to be a short section across the grass otherwise the laps will be very long.  The Tour de Welland started to coincide with the 2007 Grand Depart of the Tour de France in London and has been held annually since, Covid lockdowns excepted and this will be the 17th edition of the event.  There will be a number of stages during the afternoon across the various age groups and a great opportunity to earn some league points for the year-long championship.  Racing starts at 2:00pm and we be running for around 90 minutes or so.  Keep a check on the weather and come prepared with plenty of drinks.  Don’t forget your bike, helmet and to ask your driver nicely to get you to Misterton Hall by about 1:45pm so we’re ready to start at 2:00pm.  The booking form will come out to registered riders this evening, See you on Saturday!
