Reliability Ride Sun 29th Jan
Welland Valley Cycling Club Reliability Ride 2023
Sunday 29 January 2023.
A traditional reliability ride run by Welland Valley CC.
A great, ‘Hard Riders’, no frills event with fantastic routes along the Leicestershire / Northamptonshire border. Don’t expect a sportive, this is an “old school” reliability trial in every sense of the word.
Two routes have been designed by Phil Rayner:
- 33 miles – click here to view on Strava, and click here to view in Garmin Connect
- 69.5 miles – click here to view on Strava, and click here to view in Garmin Connect
HQ is Lubenham Village Hall, 63 Laughton Road, Lubenham, LE16 9TE, which will be open from 8:30am. First riders off at 9am. HQ will close at 3pm.
- Parking is limited at HQ, so best to cycle in if you can
- Cost £5 per rider.
- Cakes and hot drinks at start/finish.
- Good value for money
- Route cards
- Real toilets at HQ, no portable loos
Riders aged 16 or under must be accompanied by an adult (and you will need to have a parental consent form)
Route markers and support are not supplied, riders are expected to be self-reliant.
Please note that if weather conditions are icy, the ride may need to be cancelled. Please keep an eye on the Club website and/or Facebook page for updates.
