Whizz Kids Prize Presentation

Good evening Whizz Kids. Thanks for everything this year which we drew to a close with our annual presentation and pre Christmas bash held in a nice warm indoor venue thanks to Cox Automotive at Bruntingthorpe. It was quite a low key event today with a couple of scooter races outside and then the serious business of trying the new jerseys on for size, rummaging through the pre-loved donated kit and eating the Hero’s and Celebrations before the prize presentation. We presented trophies to the winners from the Roadrunner Series as well as the Whizz Kids Racing League (supported by Alden’s Electrical) and all present took away trophies and medals. Additionally the age group winners of the Racing league also got a new jersey to wear for next season.

Thanks today go to Simon, Ian and Judith for helping out and to Fabia from Cox Automotive for organising a super venue for us to use for the presentation and to all the riders and parents who have been part of Whizz Kids this year and personal thanks for a couple of interesting looking gifts received this afternoon. We won’t be riding on December 24th so out next session will not be until January 14th 2023. I’m off to put my feet up for a bit, don’t suppose there’s anything good on the telly tonight..!
