Join the Rebellion

Well, really that should read, “Would you like to join the group riding the Rebellion Way?”

“The Rebellion Way is a 232-mile / 373km cycling adventure around Norfolk. Meandering along a mix of quiet, mostly flat back roads, byways, cycle paths and bridleways under huge panoramic skies, it’s a fantastic introduction to multi-day, on- and off-road adventuring for anyone.” That’s what is says on the website anyway (Rebellion Way: map and GPX file | Cycling UK) and a group of club members are taking it on next year. Would you like to join us?

More information…………

Start and finish point: Norwich

Date: Friday 5th May – Mon 8th May inclusive. Note that Sat 6th May is coronation day.

Daily distance: approx. 90km (55 miles). The route is peppered with interesting landmarks and historic sites. We want to have time to stop off and take a look at some of them.  There’ll be coffee stops too!

Accommodation: Cheapish hotels and youth hostels. We’ll be sharing rooms to keep the cost down. Would need to be away 3 nights but could also stay in Norwich before and/or after the ride.

Who’s going?: well so far, it’s a group of 8 women but anyone happy to ride the distance at our pace if very welcome to join us.

So, if it sounds like your sort of thing please get in touch – just drop me an email  (chair@wellandvalleycc.co.uk)

I’ll just add that we need to firm up numbers fairly soon if we’re going to be able to book accommodation. So don’t delay!
