Whizz Kids Family Ride

Hi Whizz Kids, just a quick update on today’s ride which was a family ride up the Brampton Valley Way from Market Harborough towards Northampton and with a good group of 15 riders of varying age and ride speed  it was clear we would quickly get strung out so the  ground rules were simple, ride for 40 minutes  then turn around and ride back.  The fastest riders managed to get to the A14 bridge  while others turned between Oxenden and Kelmarsh tunnels, everyone had a good ride and we all arrived back in Harborough as a group and thanks to the Victorian railway engineers who built the railway the trail was relatively dry(ish), we’ve certainly been much muddier on this route in the past, all in all a really pleasant way to spend a Saturday afternoon, and we didn’t get the rain but we did get a lovely tail wind back to Harborough.  Thanks today go to Ali, Ian and Simon for keeping the ride bookended with no incidents to report and thanks to the parents and riders for a great afternoon.

Next session in December will be the Racing League presentation, full details to follow but for those who have been asking the new stock of Whizz Kids jerseys  will be available at that session.

See you soon!
