Bruntingthorpe Races and Whizz Kids cancelled for Tuesday 19 July
Both the race night and the Whizz Kids session at Bruntingthorpe are cancelled for tomorrow evening. We expect to be able to run both these events at the end of the Bruntingthorpe season on Tuesday 30th August and will keep you informed on that.
Bearing in mind the Red Weather Alert set by Government, we obviously need to prioritise the health and wellbeing of all participants and volunteers. We’ve spoken to medical people and to our First Aider for the event and the advice was for the events not to happen. It is never easy to make such a decision, but it is a postponement rather than a full cancellation.
Whatever else you are doing during the heatwave, do keep safe and don’t forget the sun cream and water!!
