Cheerio to Langton Hill for 2022! Its the Langtons 10 report….and an update on Tim

Round 6 of the Club Championship saw another bumper field of riders take to the Langtons course for the last time in 2022, and riders were greeted with a still and cold evening, and of course Tur Langton hill at the end!

Junior rider Dom Switzer (24:14) again headed the field, ahead of Hans and Josh Van Nierop (24:49 and 25:29 respectively).

Sarah Mee was fastest women and topped the road bike standing too with a storming ride, closely followed in both categories by Eleanor Humphries.

Well done all, and a big thank you to all the volunteers who helped the TT to run smoothly.

TT Secretary Tim Smith was not at the event – he is continuing to receive treatment for a back injury, and has had some complications and a second operation.  Everyone at WVCC sends their best wishes to Tim for a quick and full recovery, and look forward to seeing him when he is fully recovered.

The next round of the Championship will be the Naseby 10 17th May 19.00

All the results and standings can be seen in the links below, including the Nev Brooks  Memorial Trophy standings, and the Cox Automotive Leagues.  Thanks to Mike Ives for sorting all this out!
