Report: Shaftsbury CC 25 mile TT
Adrian Killworth, Simon Ward and and Jon Durnin rode the Shaftsbury CC 25 mile TT on Sunday, at the F2A/25 course near Cambourne.
The course is regarded as being fast in the right conditions, and goes out and back twice. It is however rather exposed, and with headwinds on the return legs of around 20 mph it was always going to be a tough day (or “good training conditions” according to Simon!)
Jon clocked 58:54 (good enough for 18th), Adrian 59:17 (22nd) and Simon 1.01:50 (36th, and three seconds off a distance PB). All were pleased with their rides.
Winner overall was Matt Smith, in his first ride of the year, with 48:39…
