Deep breath…

It kicks off this evening when the typically unruly off-roaders have adopted the summer schedule and change their clocks early and will set off from Great Bowden at 5pm this afternoon. See the WhatsApp group for route information and updates.

It’s Round 4 of the NCRA Spring Series Road Race on Saturday at 10am on the Old circuit, organised by Fenland Clarion (originally planned to be on the Southwick circuit).  Once again this week the will be plenty of yellow sprinkled throughout the handicap groups. Good luck to all the racers, looking forward to more success and a cracking report.

Whizz Kids Racing League round 2 will be taking place at Misterton Hall, near Lutterworth at 2pm on Saturday mainly on the paths but there might be a bit of grass and gravel too.

For the testers, round 2 of the club championship takes place at Medbourne on Sunday at 9am with a 20 mile TT taking in two laps of the hilly Medbourne hardride course. Pre-entry is needed via sign up genius by 12 pm Saturday.

Also on Sunday there are the normal club runs led by – Chris Orfeur (fast), Chris Dainty (brisk) and Daryll Collis (steady) at  9.15 from The Square. There will also be a super steady group heading out for 30km aiming to get back to Harborough by 11am in time for Mother’s Day lunch.
