Introducing the ‘fabulous 5’ new WVCC Committee members

Just like the Politburo in the old Soviet Union and the Supreme People’s Assembly in modern-day North Korea; Welland Valley CC is run by a governing committee (albeit one slightly less prone to political purges and sundry atrocities).

The committee is there to operate the club on behalf of the membership and is elected on an annual basis.

A number of new faces – Judith Rout, Sarah Mee, Claire Waterfield, Roger Kockelburgh and Stuart Haycox – joined the committee recently.

Well known to some, but not all, club members; the fabulous five have put pen to paper to explain a little about  their involvement in our amazing sport.

We’ll be running their pen portraits over the next week or so and hope members will give them all a warm welcome to their new roles on the club committee.
