‘THAT’S ALL FOLKS’

Well that’s the end of the WVCC TT season folks, with the ‘Flying 5’ from Hallaton. 17 events 802 individual rides and 3 Inter-Club/open events.

There are always a few bumps in the road (having to cancel the first TT at Bruntingthorpe due to the threat of lighting perhaps the biggest) but these are easily outweighed by the positives, the intense competition, the numbers, the friendly atmosphere, and the new faces, particularly the new crop of youngsters. and not forgetting the bacon butties!

I’ve loved reading the race reports from our guest reporters, it’s great to hear a little of a riders back story, so thanks to all who have stepped up to this (some with a little persuasion).

We have a great team of helpers and officials who get these events on, your absolute 100% reliability and experience makes the job of event organiser so much easier and allows me to race too in the confidence that everything is being taken care of.

The planning starts now for 2022, I’m very much hoping to get a new two part event off the ground at Kibworth so keep an eye out for that.

Thanks again and I hope to catch up with many of you at the awards evening on 27th Nov. Next event; Boxing Day, Kibworth 10am.
