Spooktacular 100k Halloween Gravel Ride

We are planning a spooktacular 100k Halloween gravel ride on Sunday 31st October (note the change from the previously published date of 16 October) heading out from Harborough early enough to get back for trick or treating later. It’s going to be fangtastic. You might hear the creak of rusty hinges followed by heavy boot steps in the gravel – when we have to open gates. Fancy dress is optional. You will need lights for the spooky bat infested tunnels on the Brampton Valley Way.

Don’t be a lazy bones, trick or treat yourself.

See link to draft route (anti-clockwise) planned by Richard Heald –

We plan to meet at 7.30am (hopefully this won’t be too early with the clocks going back the night before) at the top of the Brampton Valley Way on Scotland Road in Little Bowden – even the What3Words location is creepy –  ///repeated.almost.thudding .

This will be an unsupported club ride for WVCC members and friends from other local clubs. It is intended to be suitable for all off-road bikes from ‘cross bikes to gravel and mountain bikes.
