Hurrah. The Sunday Club Run is back in business this weekend (with – as you might have guessed – a few changes).
As usual we’ll be going out from the Square in Harbs at various speeds in groups with a maximum size of six.
However, we are following British Cycling’s guidance, which for the Club Run means that riders should not travel out of Tier 2 (i.e. Northants and Rutland) areas to join in an activity in Tier 3 (i.e. Leicestershire) and vice versa. We interpret this guidance to mean that people living in Tier 2 areas should not to travel to the start of a Club Run in a Tier 3 area (i.e. Market Harborough).
Also riders should note that they should not stop for a break outside their own area.
We will continue to keep this under review.
Members are encouraged to use their judgement – enjoy riding your bike, and please be safe and responsible.
To register for this Sunday’s rides, please respond to this post or email Chris.firstname.lastname@example.org by 6pm on Saturday at the latest.
Rides leave the Square at 9.15am prompt. Wrap up warm.
