Picture of the day comes from Stuart Dawkins, he explains why he chose to share it below.
“This picture was taken on the first evening of a three-day ‘tour’ to the roads used for the Tour of Flanders which I went on with some friends from London in 2017.
We rode from Blackheath to Folkestone bloody fast on the Friday as the strongest rider amongst us wanted fish and chips before we boarded Eurostar – which we duly achieved. The van then drove us to about 20-miles from Bruges and we rode the rest of the way in the twilight.
This is the ‘faster’ group waiting for the others to catch us. It was an unplanned shot on a friend’s phone but, I hope you’ll agree, just looks amazing!”
