Marshalling duties
More than 50 club members have still not signed-up for their annual volunteering shift – potentially putting a number of club events in jeopardy.
Of immediate concern, club TTs on April 28 and May 12 will have to be cancelled if marshalling slots remain unfilled.
In addition, we are worryingly short of marshals for a number of other events, including the Welland Valley Sportive, Duncan Murray Road Race and the Friday Night Summer Series.
Adult members who compete regularly in TTs, road racing, ‘cross and mountain biking are reminded that they are asked to volunteer for two events per season.
If you have not yet volunteered, please go to Sign Up Genius now and pick a date of your choosing.
Those members unable to pick a date by the end of April will be allocated a slot – and will be responsible for finding a replacement if they cannot make it.
