Racing League Round 2 report

It was back to business today for Whizz Kids and Round 2 of the Whizz Kids Racing League supported by Alden Electrical. Today’s round was the skills omnium where riders were tested on two skills based circuits but against the clock. The two courses were set out to challenge riders in balance, cornering, agility and riders had the opportunity to get a time on both. The first circuit was the classic BC skills circle that Whizz Kids first used when I had brown hair and it continues to be a benchmark course. The second course was a longer course that built on the skills and also tested endurance.
Results will follow but in the meantime just some thanks. To Ian, Dean and Jade, I have no idea how many Parkruns Dean completed today guiding the riders around, but it was a sterling effort. Thanks also to the parents who also got some steps in running around and helping us out, and for helping clear up at the end – it is always appreciated. There was some classic skillage on show today from all riders, from balance bikes to seasoned Whizz Kids veterans and it was a pleasure to watch.
We’ll see you next time!
