National MTB series Rd1

Louis Jakobson and Vic Barnett contested Round one of the National MTB series in Sherwood Pines, Nottingham.
In bright sunshine (finally), the duo enjoyed a fast flowing course through the forest.
After the recent poor weather, some of the corners and tree roots were slippery but most of the course was relatively dry.
Louis faced a 3 lap race lasting 1 hour, he finished 32nd in the Youth category. Vic was 11th in the Super Veterans event (over 60) after 90 minutes, 4 laps of racing.
