N&DCA Rd 1
Four Welland Valley members contested round one of the N&DCA time-trial series.
The popular series of 10 events kicked off with an 18.7 mile effort around the Middleton circuit in damp conditions.
Seasoned riders Linda Hubbard & Hans van Nierop were joined by youth and enthusiasm in the form of Mac Carter and Dominic Switzer.
Both of the youngers were venturing into the unknown having never raced such a distance alone with only the stopwatch to beat.
The young men did themselves proud, Dom recorded 53 minutes, Mac 64 minutes 27 seconds.
Linda Hubbard finished 3rd Lady, just missing out on second by 3 seconds recording 50 minutes 37 seconds. Hans covered the distance in 47.30.
