Cyclists and charity are to benefit from an initiative from Harborough-based marketing services company, MRM.
The company, which has been operating in the town for 24 years and employs more than 100 staff locally, handles promotions management, e-commerce, business process outsourcing, payment solutions and handling & fulfilment for wide range of major national brands.
MRM has kindly donated over 300 items of surplus cycling clothing and equipment to Welland Valley Cycling Club.
The club plans to auction major items in aid of the local air ambulance and distribute others to club members via a lottery – encouraging winners to make a donation to the charity as a ‘thank you.’ Lottery details will be made available to all club members soon!
MRM managing director, Marc Rigby, said:
“We’re delighted to be putting this surplus to good use – benefitting both Welland Valley members and a very important local charity.”
Welland Valley president, Dave Birch, said:
“This is a real boost for Welland Valley. As a cyclist in the UK, you can never have enough kit to cope with all the vagaries of the weather.”
Thank you MRM!!!
