After a week on the east coast enjoying training on some different roads and a holiday, Michael Burke returned to Hillingdon for the latest round of the Full Gas series.
In bitterly cold conditions Michael attacked the bunch after only 10 mins to bridge across to an earlier break that disappeared up the road after only 5 minutes.
With good riders in the break it was going to take a determined effort to close the gap. His effort was made slightly easier after numerous kilometers on his own when he was joined by 6 other riders. They managed to them chase down break after some hard riding.
With still 30 minutes of racing to go there was alot of attacking within the group to get away. It wasn’t until the final couple of when one rider managed to escape from the bunch and solo to victory. Michael sprinted to an excellent 4th place.
