Over the last week the Round Robin series has delivered another couple of cracking races, Ratae RC’s Gilmorton 10 and Hinckley CRC’s Wolvey 10.
40 riders lined up at the Gilmorton 10 on Saturday 25th July. Series leader Alex Whitmore (Ratae RC) blasted around the course with 22:39 on a road bike, followed by Tom Scott-Collins at 23:03 and Evan Collett at 24:03. Fastest women was Andrea Winkless (Coalville Wheelers).
Jonathan Durnin was the fastest Welland Valley rider, from Colin Dobson and Ian Aldridge.
A Round Robin record of 60 riders signed up on Tuesday night at Wolvey organised by Hinkley CRC. David Mead (MI Racing) was fastest with 20:19, with Alex Whitmore second (21:41) and Jonathan Durnin third (22:59). Fastest woman was WVCC’s Milly Pinnock with 25:15.
Jonathan Durnin was the fastest Welland Valley rider, from Jason Williams and Jamie Kershaw.
