Hi all,
Fully appreciating that Saturday was probably one of the busiest days of the year for most, we were still determined to try and get a family ride in before Christmas (my social life being rather sparse) and therefore decided a spin down the tow path to Foxton would fit the bill.
As at Friday night the sign up roster looked very light until Stan, John and Mum & Dad said yes and I was delighted when our number was increased by Evan and Dad on the day.
A fantastic effort by Evan and John, who was surprisingly disappointed not to be getting an ice cream, saw us reach the locks before turning back to head home.
I am looking forward to re-riding the route again in spring or summer when we can all get frozen treats.
