WVCC 100k Autumn Gravel Ride – Sunday 5 October

In previous years we’ve done this close to Halloween, but this year’s won’t be spooktacular at all as we’ve moved it earlier in the hope of having better ground conditions and to avoid “advanced gravel”.

We’ll set off from the bridleway next to Farndon Fields Farm Shop, Farndon Road, Market Harborough – What3Words ///strikers.resting.smile – at 8am and we expect a riding time of about 4.5 – 5 hours with a cafe stop at about 60km.

This year we’re heading west towards Rugby with a coffee stop at Draycote Water in a reprise of our 2022 route.

This will be an unsupported club ride for WVCC members and friends from other local clubs. It is intended to be suitable for all off-road bikes from ‘cross bikes to gravel and mountain bikes.

Please let us know if you’re coming – ideally through our off-road WhatsApp group – so we can arrange additional ride groups by speed and bike type as appropriate. To be added to our off-road WhatsApp group please message Adrian Killworth or email your mobile number to offroad@wellandvalleycc.co.uk
