On Saturday we held the latest round of the Alden Electrical racing league and having ridden out to watch the Tour of Britain on Friday I can honestly say Remco, Alaphilippe and rest had nothing on the Whizz Kids.
Held on the hilly terrain of Harborough leisure We had five stages lined up, each getting harder and longer starting with a simple dash through to the multi descents and climbs of the hill stage.
As ever, having finished the serious stuff we got a few of the parents in on the action and finished with a competitive relay.
I was a little disappointed not to get thrown a bidon by the riders but birthday chocolates from Rory made up for that.
A big thank you to Ian, Jade and Sophie for the help and all the parents for making the event work.
